“eyeCall” – a mobile phone call control application. eyeCall is based on “eyeCan”-the company’s proprietary Touch Free Interface technology.
eyeCall enables the user to silent an incoming call, by a simple hand motion, without touching the mobile device or keypad.
In addition, eyeCall offers to send a predefined text message by simply covering the phone with the hand. For instance, when in a meeting, a hand movement above the phone will silent an incoming call, and by simply covering the phone with one’s hand, a predefined text message is sent – for example: “I am currently in a meeting, please call later.”

Phone Shortcuts is a software tool which allows you to start the applications faster using shortcuts, hotkeys and the start at boot (autoboot) feature. The main screen of the application shows you a grid of shortcuts you can define. For each shortcut you can associate an application and edit its settings in order to start it faster. Also, each shortcut is associated by default with the phone’s numeric keys from 1-9, 0, * and # (hotkeys).
The application defined for a shortcut can simply (and faster) be started by pressing the associated key (hotkey) for a specified period of time even the Phone Shortcuts is not running. You can keep the hotkey pressed for its timeout (long press) no matter what the phone shows and the application will be started. There is no need to have the Phone Shortcuts running.
Due to the background service the hotkeys will be active anytime if you enabled them. If you do not wish to use hotkeys you can still start the applications faster by (long) pressing the key ‘C’ (clear). This will automatically start the Phone Shortcuts tool allowing you to select a shortcut from its main menu grid. In the main menu grid, just simply press the associated key of the shortcut and the application will be started also.
You can also start applications faster as follows:
- use the Phone Shortcuts tool and define shortcuts. Assign the Phone Shortcuts tool to the left soft key in the main screen (Tools->Settings->Phone->General->Standby mode->Left selection key-> assign Phone Shortcuts). Every time you need to start an application faster, simply press the left soft key to start the Phone Shortcuts tool and then, from the main menu grid, press the associated key for application.
- assign the Phone Shortcuts tool to one entry in the active panel of the main phone screen. Just select the Phone Shortcuts icon from panel to start it then select the desired application.

Features:
- the shortcut hotkey for an application can be enabled/disabled.
- the hotkey timeout (long key press) can be changed from 1 to 10 seconds.
- hotkey can ignore the keylock. If you long press the hotkey, the application will be started even the keypad is locked. This option can be disabled too.
- start at boot option available (autostart). If this setting is enabled, then the application will be started when the phone is powered on (boot time). A number of max. 5 applications are allowed to autostart at the boot time (power on).
- the master hotkey ‘C’ (clear) allows to directly start the Phone Shortcuts tool and select the shortcut. This can be disabled also.
- the master hotkey ‘C’ can also ignore the keypad lock if enabled.
- can also be set to start at the boot time (autoboot).
- the hotkeys do not affect the normal usage of the phone. You can use the keys and write text as usually.
- allows 12 shortcuts in the main menu grid. The shortcuts are mapped with the phone’s numeric keys 1-9,0,# and * (hotkeys).

What’s new in 1.3.0:

● Phone profile support.
When a new message arrives Palringo now only notifies if currently selected phone profile allows it to do so. So if you are at a boring meeting and your phone is set to silent Palringo will not give you away.
● Image preview in the chat window.
You can not see a thumbnail image preview in the chat window so there this no need to press “view” all the time when you need to see that picture.
● Contacts blocking.
If someone is pestering you then you can block them so you wouldn’t receive messages from them anymore.
● Group muting.
If you don’t want to receive sound notifications from a particular group then you can mute it. That way you will only receive notifications which are important for you right now.
● UI improvements for touch screen devices.
If you are an owner of N97 or 5800 then you should find this release more easier to use. We reworked some UI elements and increased their sizes so they are easier to control.
● Extra settings to control the application.
We have added extra settings such as viewing offline contacts. This improves application speed when switching between groups.
● Avatars support.
If you own Palringo premium account then you can view other people’s avatars. The avatar images can be uploaded though our website.
